Adobe Acrobat Pro DC

If you need to view and sign PDFs, use Adobe Acrobat Reader. Adobe Acrobat Pro DC is only necessary if you are creating and editing Portable Document Format (PDF) files.

Our Adobe Term Site License Program agreement allows the Adobe Acrobat to be installed on computers for use by permanent, benefited, full-time faculty and staff ONLY. If you have questions about your eligibility for this program, contact the IT Support Center at 831-6000.

This download of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC will automatically update to the latest version offered by Adobe.

This Adobe Acrobat Pro DC installer is unlicensed. It will only work if you have a named user license and can login to authenticate your license using your UDelNet ID and password. If you do not have a named user license and/or cannot login to authenticate, or need to install Acrobat in a lab or cluster request help using this form. Macintosh installation notes:

System Requirements for Adobe Acrobat Pro DC for Macintosh are:
  • A Macintosh computer with an Intel or Apple Silicon processor
  • macOS v12 or newer
  • 2 GB of RAM
  • 2.75 GB of available hard disk space (Note: The installer creates temporary files during installation so the actual hard disk space required at that time is greater than the value listed.)
  • 1024 x 768 screen resolution
  • Expand .zip: Double-click the downloaded .zip file to expand it.
  • Open DMG: Double-click the downloaded .dmg file to open it.
  • Run Installer: Double-click the red Acrobat folder to launch the installer. Then double click the brown package inside the opened folder.
  • Follow Prompts: Click Allow, click Continue, select your install destination, and click Install.
  • Authenticate: Enter your Mac's administrator password if asked.
  • Rosetta (if needed): If you have an Apple Silicon Mac, you might see a prompt to install Rosetta; click Install.
  • Sign In: After installation, launch Acrobat Pro DC and sign in with your UD account.
  • Windows Installation Notes:

    System Requirements for Adobe Acrobat Pro DC for Windows are:
    • 1.5 GHz or faster Intel or AMDprocess or
    • Windows 11 (64 bit), Windows 10 (64 bit) version 1809 or later, Windows Server 2022, Windows Server 2016 (64 bit), or Windows Server 2019 (64 bit)
    • 2 GB of RAM.
    • 4.5 GB of available hard-disk space.
    • 1024 x 768 screen resolution
  • Extract .zip file: Double-click the downloaded .zip file and select Extract All at the top of the window.
  • Open Folder: Double-click the Adobe Acrobat folder inside the opened folder.
  • Run Setup: Double-click the Setup Application inside the opened folder.
  • Follow Prompts: Click Continue, select your install destination, and click Install.
  • Sign In: After installation, launch Acrobat Pro DC and sign in with your UD account.
