University of Delaware students, faculty, and staff can download software licensed for their use from UDeploy.

Installing IBM SPSS Statistics 24 for Windows at the University of Delaware

Each installation requires a unique IBM SPSS Statistics license authorization code for 2017-2018

Installing the IBM SPSS Statistics Premium Package (YOU MUST HAVE ADMINISTRATIVE PRIVILEGES ON THE COMPUTER.)

  1. Uninstall previous SPSS full versions. (It is OK to leave the optional SPSS SmartViewer 15 for .spo files.)
  2. Download the SPSS software and patch files (if available) at the UDeploy site.
  3. Double-click the downloaded file to begin the installation process.
  4. Accept the defaults in all installation windows that appear except for the windows described in steps 5-10.
  5. License Agreement: accept the license terms and click Next.
  6. You may choose to install Essentials for Python if you intend to use that software.
  7. License Agreements: accept the license terms on both pages and click Next.
  8. After the install completes, select Finish.
  9. License SPSS
    1. A new windows will appear In the IBM SPSS Statistics Window, select License Product under “Already purchaced IBM SPSS Statistics?”
    2. In the License Status window, select Next.
    3. In the Product Authorization window, Leave Authorized User license option selected.
    4. In the Enter Codes window, enter your license authorization code: 20-character code on confirmation email, then select “Next”

 

Not sure about the rest.

  1. InstallShield Wizard window:
  2. Customer Information window: type the following into the form
    1. User Name: Full name of the UD faculty/staff member to whom this copy is licensed
    2. Organization: University of Delaware
  4. License IBM SPSS Statistics window (appears after a lengthy installation process): UNCHECK the Click Here to register…. box at the bottom and click OK.
  5. You may select JAWS if needed
  7. Product Authorization window: click Next in order to License my product now.
  9. Install Wizard Completed window: click OK. Then restart Windows.
